Visit by Christ for Asia International (CFAI)
YHKCC is very honored to have Christ for Asia International (CFAI), a service team from Cebu, which visited us for a 'giving back tour' on 28th May. CFAI is one of the partnering organizations in our Service Outreach Week program. Every year the school sends a team to Cebu to bring love, care and offer help to the needy children there. Most of the children in CFAI have mostly experienced very difficult lives in their past. They are the products of negligence by their parents, being orphaned, having been physically abused, and they are trying to survive in the streets – alone.
But their lives don’t end there and God’s Story doesn’t end there. God has reached out to these children and transformed their lives into something great. The team prepared presentations and performances such as dances and drama and shared their stories on how God changed their lives from being hopeless and left alone in the streets into a life being Salt and Light to the earth through the grace of the living God, through the morning Tuesday briefing and a lunch event.
